Meh, your defense is looking rather porous at present - Michigan blanked Maryland on the road whereas Maryland scored 28 points in Columbus...

21 against our starters, 1 late BS one in the final seconds against our backups.

We also scored 49 while michigan could only muster 28, so...

You won by 21 points while giving up 28, Michigan won by 28 while giving up ZERO points. They also put up 24 points against the #1 defense in the country (not counting the kickoff TD and the pick 6 as they don't go against the defense's numbers).

I'm not ready to put them above the Buckeyes or Sparty (yet), but you have to admit those two teams have been in a funk for weeks whereas Michigan has rattled off three shutouts, two against ranked teams.

To be honest, I'll be really surprised if they don't beat MSU soundly. For the struggles OSU has had, MSU has looked worse. I could see michigan beating them by a couple TDs.

Come end of the year, as I said, I fully expect us to have the QB situation figured out (we very well may already), and it's also not like our defense is bad. I have confidence we will still handle michigan when it come to The Game.

I think MSU pulls this one off in a squeaker. But I have to admit, got a lot more respect for Michigan than I did in week one. And hat's off to you Michigan fans that put up with verbal clubbing after verbal clubbing in the weeks leading up to the start of the season. After that, a little gloating is fine by me.
