I don't quite know if it's results based right now or just getting him to throw 90+ pitches without being dead. Saunders just had that bout with dead arm, so as little as I like him, I don't even know how results based worried he is either.

Could see the two of them go back and forth alternating spots on the DL a few times until one or the other proves to be solid or Derek gets back. Pretty sure Colbra wins out in the end when he gets his stamina back and his legs under him. Hope Saunders days are numbered as are his starts at the ML level on this team, just think he is basically done and hope beyond all hope Colby has a few more years in him or at least a couple

I don't expect Kins to be 0-fer the season. He should get on base vs Vargas at least though.

Was real busy on two projects last 2 weeks of March ... what's the deal on Figueroa, McCutchen, Rosin and Tolleson?

I suspect that one or two of them are in the bullpen to keep two lawnchairs warm so when either or both of Scheppers or Ross is bumped out of the rotation. I hope one of the young guys who is pitching well doesn't get bumped to make room for Saunders to take the long role. I think there is better use having an additional short guy than a spare as a long guy.

The M's might actually benefit from the stupid not pitching closer on the road in a tie game nonsense. Rodney sucks, so they are actually using their best bullpen arm this inning.

As long as Saunders is gone soon I really don't care how they manage it. I hope he pitches a gem tomorrow and i look like an ass but even then I'm done with him. However he likely doesn't make it 2 full innings

My guess is that Saunders will be gone when Harrison returns, or soon thereafter once he proves he's healthy
