Seems to me that Houston kind of got screwed by Rice getting to host the regional in Houston, while my Cougs have to go play in Baton Rouge. Hopefully we can take care of business there and go back home and beat Rice -- again, having already posted a 3-0 record against the Owls this year! Eat 'em up!
You're better off in Baton Rouge , no? The only serious threat there is LSU, and being only a 4 hour drive, I'd think your fans could travel to that quite easily.
I don't follow it that closely, so perhaps you are right. I read today, however, that LSU is among the hottest teams in the country right now, so it figures to be a tough task to beat them at their place.
Just seems to me that UH has a better resume than Rice this year , so I was kind of surprised that we didn't get to host the regional. Maybe it has something to do with fan support, though. Not sure about this year in baseball, but I suspect that Rice probably supports its team better than UH does.

They'll have plenty of food and drink for you Cougs. Glad to have yall going to BR.
Texas vs A&M round 1...sweet.
But A&M will lose...suck
