I tried kicking some people out with a lot of 0s to boost our group average

The #1 group averaged 485 per entry for 21 entries... our #22 entry had 487 points

We need to keep this in mind for next year.
Maybe have 2 groups.
1 for every one.
1 for only the people who picked every week this year.

499 points and two godawful weeks. I think Duke lost every time I picked them and won every time I picked against them...assholes.

That's exactly what I have done. I think it has to do with the first year you are way more careful and analyze every pick. By the umpteenth year, you pick every week in about 15 seconds.

The first year I played, I came in second place. That was back when you picked against the spread instead of having confidence points.

I always tell myself that next year I'll be more careful picking, but I never am.
