State needed the games more than they needed wins. hell, even Izzo said the B1GT was 'important' this year - but ONLY because the kids needed to re-learn just how good they are together...something everybody has conveniently forgotten since January.
but, gawd dammit...NOW?
two solid-seeded B1G teams will beat the ever loving shit out of each other (having played 3 grueling games each over three straight days) for a fuckn tin crown (and all of those 'intra-state rivalry' issues) with only three days to prepare for the MAD!?!

The way I see it, Michigan will get a 1 or 2 seed and probably play Buffalo, NY. (it is about the same travel for them to Buffalo as it is to Milwaukee)
Wisconsin will get a 2 or 3 seed and probably play Milwaukee, WI.
Michigan State will get a 4-5 seed and play in Saint Louis, MO.
Ohio State will get a 6-7 seed and play in Orlando, FL.
Nebraska will get a 10-11 seed and play in Saint Louis, MO.
Iowa will get a 10-11 seed and play in San Antonio, TX.

Minnesota will get an NIT bid. Probably a 2-3 seed.
Illinois and Indiana will play in that other garbage tournament.

Yes, we lost. What does that have to do with anything? The question is whether MSU moves ahead of us on the S-curve. And the fact that we outscored MSU 58-45 over the last 25 minutes matters, doesn't it? Or are you saying a 40 point loss is the same as a 14 point loss.

Or are you just bitching because you hate Bo Ryan? You talk an awfully big game for a Michigan fan. Bo has 19 NCAA wins in 12 years. Michigan has 6 NCAA wins in the last 19 years. Yes, last year was an impressive run, but your program has accomplished jack shit other than that in current players' lifetimes. And even last year, Bo Ryan kicked your ass in March. So I guess your post should say "Bo Ryans team loses in March...but later than Michigan, and not against Michigan."

We have been down but have been up longer then last year. 2 B1G titles and a Final Four runner up in the last 3 say so with what looks to be another decent run. We did more last year then Bo and the Badgers have done his whole time there. Talk to me IF you get out of the second round and when your done bitching about another lost year with crap talent
