I appreciate that.

That is really difficult to answer for a couple reasons. First off, Bo is the head coach. Second off, Ameer works his ass off like no other.

I think Newby is all-around the best back we've recruited in a long time. That is my personal opinion based off of his videos. I think he possesses skillz that you normally don't see out of a back who chooses Nebraska........even though we are known for producing good backs, normall these caliber of backs would stay West Coast with the likes of USC or Oregon or somethin like that.

I just don't know how Bo is gonna want to do this.......with Ameer, Imani, and Braylon all showing great promise.

Is he gonna want to burn a redshirt opportunity just to get Newby a little bit of time when he's got a stable of backs? He did it for Imani this season, but that was because Imani came in and worked his ass off.

I just don't know what ta think. I don't know Newby's work ethic en sech.

As far as overall developed skillz and potential...........yea, Newby is going to be the best Back we have as soon as he gets here. Book market.

That doesn't mean Bo will play him right away though.

I'm obviously being sarcastic...........but seriously speaking, I think Drake is a guy who Pelini could take and turn into something really special on Defense.

He's 6'2" 200lbs right now...........I think you could bulk him up and he could play LB. I think you could leave him as he is and he could play Safety. I think he could return kicks. I think he could do several different things Offensively.

Guy runs a legit 4.3 and he's just got that football instinct. It's easy to see in his videos.

They asked him what he thought of playing in Bo's two gap.

Bo's answer to the blowouts has been "I wish I knew".

I've heard some decent recruits have shied away from Nebraska because of the style of defense he is trying to execute. It's complex and apparently unfavorable to DT's.
