Each year Pelini has held Blackshirts from the starters longer and longer. This year he waited until after the 8th game.

Next year is the year he finally eliminates them completely.

Well maybe if they didn't play like fucking garbage they'd get 'em earlier.

They had some of the worst performances in the history of Nebraska football this year.

I don't need to tell you that.

Nobody on that defense deserved a blackshirt.

If he hates the tradition so much then why doesn't he just choose the path of least resistance and give out 11 blackshirts at the beginning of the year. Take them away and give them back on a weekly basis.

If he really doesn't play favorites like he says then it should be no problem giving out and taking them away from week to week.

The media will learn to quit asking about them and just ask who is starting.
