Lou Holtz is recruiting for Notre Dame every Thursday night on national tv.

They've cooled on Stoops lately, but I remember a few years ago Herbstriet saying "If you're a high school kid you want to play for Bob Stoops"

Yeah and they do a great job bashing Bo Pelini.

Pelini is stuck in reverse as far as national perception.

At Alabama yes, but his first couple classes at LSU were nothing special until he won the SEC CCG and the Sugar Bowl.

He then started recruiting Top 5 and won the national championship

He's a good coach though and that's why kids want to play for him.

Bit of a head scratcher for me yet on this one. The only thing I can think of is that the coaches are just breaking into one of the top programs in the state of OH which doesn't hurt, but OSU still gets first pick from any OH school.
