Hey trust me chuck when you get to college and you start maturing you will see things differently. I'm at a point where I can go any direction I want. The one piece of advice I have consistently gotten is don't ever choose to do something for the money.

I have a buddy who is ready to go to med school and be a surgeon because "that's what pays the most" He doesn't really care about helping people, he has his eyes set on a nice house and some toys. I grew up around people like that and most of them are unhappy, empty people.

I'm sure you know that most journalists don't make much, but if you love it you will get so much from it. Way more than any salary could match.

God forbid you're actually really really good at it and you publish a big seller book or write for the mothership, just make sure you do whatever you do because you love it chuck.
