This recruiting stuff just gets old. Thee prize recruits never want ta come here dammit. They never give us anything to be excited about. We always end up taking and squeezing every last bit of positivity out of every * that we can add up in our class.

I mean, tell me if I'm wrong, but in Nebraska a 3* is a 4* and a 4* is a 5*........that's what it's become for us fans as we've become so desperate to be the best again.

Not saying that I'm not one of the folks doing it though.........I'm one of the guiltiest of them all. I find myself getting all excited no matter who commits en shit......and then I'll go tell people at work that "this guy is seriously way better than people are analyzing him...."

I would take Michigan St's defense in a heartbeat.

They got very fortunate hitting on their "diamond in the rough" DB's and DT's.

Jerel Worthy was in fact recruited by Nebraska. He woulda been a legend here.

He is a 4.8* here at SportsHoopla, so it wouldn't surprise me

2010 - One 4* Safety, One 5* DE, One 4* CB, One 4* MLB (4 total)
2011 - One 4* DE, One 5* DE (2 total)
2012 - One 4* Safety, One 4* OLB (2 total)

From 2010 4* CB Hicks (barely contributed)
From 2011 4* DE Heath (did not contrubute), 5* DE Thomas (barely contributed)
From 2012 4* Safety Cox (did not contribute), 4* LB Lyles (did not contribute)

So their 2012 defense had the following highly rated contributers..

2009 - One 4* SLB
2010 - One 4* Safety, One 4* MLB, One 5* DE


The rest were all 3* and below...

Really you can list the 5-10 normal Hot schools, and that's where 90% of the so called 5* guys go to, ucla is in that zone permanently based on location alone, I lmao when mora leaves them after next year, just like I normally lol at the top 10 class they sign year after year and still barely go .500
