but i just looked at his tape...seems like he just relies on his size against smaller competition...doesnt look like he really uses much technique, that being said i dont really think there are many high school lineman that have good technique

this is pretty accurate. :thumb:

He is a 3* on rivals, but he is rated at 5.5............

Which means he is just barely a 3*......

3* ranges from 5.5-5.7 en sech.

We appear to be targeting the beef on the OL, 6'8'' 300+ for 2 of our verbals, I like this trend. This makes our second JC LT in a row, not so good a trend in that regard however.

We'll also need another option in case of injuries, creates some competition anyway. Would be a huge blow if Bondi doesn't come through

To me, I can't stand that many of the top programs cull the herd out after each new crop of recruits come in and yet it never catches up to them as far as reputation and word on the street with kids and parents is concerned. I really wish we could cut weight and not suffer the consequences of it coming back to bite us later. With the new rules the ncaa is passing it's just going to get much harder for us to recruit while at the same time practicing any shred of integrity.

Terrell Newby dropped from #67 in the Rivals100 to #75. Obviously not that big of a drop but it was no doubt fueled by his commitment to nebraska

Of course it is. Think about it.......Nebraska hasn't been great in quite a while. So recruiting services like Rivals have to be thinking players just aren't simply being developed at Nebraska. Thus, drop them down when they commit to Nebraska in order to make them look more credible in the future when they don't end up panning out.

If they go to a place like Oregon, raise them up 10 spots when they commit.
