At this point I'm going with coaching. The talent is there. Manny's defensive schemes are very unusual.

Pay attention to the LBs......they look completely lost, because they can't read where the DL is. Why? Because Manny's scheme allows them to stunt and move at will, and the LBs are supposed to play off that.

The problem is there is no defined gap responsibility for the LBs, and when they make a mistake, BIG PLAYS happen.

The secondary can't mask the problem of the LBs making mistakes and missing tackles

They are definitely playing more physical.......but our OL is bigger and should win more than they lose. So far, that's not the case.

The body language is BAD for Texas.
