Like I said before, the way this draft appears to be heading is that the best player that may be available when it's time for the Bengals to make their pick will be a wide receiver and just like my mock McShay has them selecting Patterson. It looks about like the others I've seen. Would be nice to see the Rams take a wr but maybe they've decided that they aren't very good at drafting wrs.

Wow that is a really bad mock. No Geno in the 1st, Nassib at 8, Eifert at 6, Rams taking Lacy, Saints taking a RT. I see none of those happening.

As a Niners fan, I like Ertz at 31. Also, as a Notre Dame fan, I hate that he has Te'o going to the Vikings!

Plus, the latest news out of Cleveland Brown's front office. They are comparing Manuel to Newton. No one has Manuel going as high as the Browns, no one, so this might be a beginning publicity push to raise Manuels stock in the media, so when the Browns take him, it doesn't look like as much of a reach. Otherwise, the Browns front office are morons for trying to make Mauel more front and center if they are hoping he falls to them in the 2nd round.

If Geno Smith is available at 21 and we pass on him I'm going to freak out. I'd be shocked if he's not drafted in the top 5, though.

If he dropped to 21, they would consider it hard and long I am sure, but that does not mean they would take him. But at 21, he would be a good possibility I am sure. Too much value to ignore the pick, since the Bengals have come out on record saying best player available is their mantra.

If Geno Smith gets past Buffalo at #8 he's going to fall and he's going to fall far! Lets not forget that Aaron Rodgers was in a similar situation in '05 as he fell all the way to the 24th pick and if GB or Wash, who drafted QB Jason Campbell with the 25th, hadn't selected him he too could have very well fell out of the 1st Round. So its not outside the realm of possibility. Plus, they're reporting that Buffalo has is sights set on Ryan Nassib. Either way its going to be a very interesting night come Thursday.

excerpt~

WGR 550 Buffalo's Joe Buscaglia believes the Bills' pick at No. 8 overall is a "two-horse race" between Ryan Nassib and Matt Barkley.
Buscaglia is a plugged-in Bills beat writer and reporter. He says Buffalo "likes Barkley a lot," and it sounds like the two quarterbacks are neck-and-neck to go eighth overall. Because of their Nassib ties and his superior skill set to Barkley, we strongly suspect the Bills would prefer Nassib. In an ideal world, Buffalo would trade down in round one and still come away with a new QB.

Patterson has the highest bust probability of any WR that'll go in the top 50 picks imo. I wouldnt be a fan of the pick

I have my issues with Kiper, but I place no value in anything Todd McShay has to say.
