Been several posts about Winfield in the thread already. Skins will be interested if it becomes official.

Well it looks like hes gonna get cut. Id imagine the vikings will be calling him along with us and a few other teams.


Still furious about the Chase cut.. I understand, but man it just seemed like he had a great camp. I was rooting for him.

I asked him on twitter heres what he said:

If he's added to the practice squad that gives him a year to practice with the team and prove he can stay healthy for the year. And possibly rejoin the 53 man roster the following year. It's a risk. He's got obvious talent. Gambling that another team doesn't take a chance on him. Hopefully it works out, because I think he'll start somewhere. Whether it be here or elsewhere.

Not sure how i feel about rolling thin at Tackle with just Compton. Questionable move on Shannys part on Pashos IMO

I like Compton its just theyre putting a lot of faith in someone who has never played a meaningful snap before

There are a lot of people who agree with you about the tackle position.

Some just understand that not all needs will be met this offseason due to the cap penalty.

Nick Williams hasnt heard anything yet... id be shocked if he made the roster. but i like him more so than Briscoe.

I agree. if trent goes down we are screwed. pashos is a vet should of been kept on. we are going to keep 4 rbs but not 4 tackles? Which position is more important? RB's are the easiest position to fill.

If they keep Williams it will be because:

1- he's another option as a returner.
2- he's a natural slot WR. Of which we only have one in Santana Moss.
