Gerhart plays the Redskins, Johnson plays the Packers.

If Gerhart can stay healthy (he is listed as probable) he will get more touches then Johnson but is it worth the risk?

Who would you experts start!

my concern is injury for Gerhart but I have much love for Chris Johnson everyone knows that I just think a healthy Gerhart would get 20 plus touches were as Johnson has to share! Still I am leaning Chris Johnson just wanted some reassurance on the matter, wanted to see if any one could present a case to start Gerhart.

Absolutely and totally shocked at the responses here.

The answer is Gerhart and it is not close.

The Packers looked really bad last week against the Hawks, but their D is solid. They are likely to throttle the Jets at home, and CJ is nothing more than a committee back at this point. He had a great matchup in week 1, but make no mistake, Ivory is the better fit for the Jets and will emerge as the back to own as the season goes on.

Gerhart, on the other hand is the unquestioned lead back and he faces a horrible Redskin defense. The game is likely to be close and Gerhart is much more likely to score than CJ is.

Foot, you ranked Gerhart #1 for a reason. He has the better matchup here. DO NOT bench him for CJ.

I actually want to hear the case for CJ. I just can't see anything other than the fact that he had more points in week 1.

Sorry, last thing:

If you bench Toby here, you might as well drop him. It does not get any better from a matchup standpoint.

Foot, if Tlance is this adamant about a matchup, then you know what to do.
