To be in a fantasy league or not

I do a fantasy baseball league with my brother in laws friends... we also do a football league... they are all football people so we have 14 in football... but we only have 10 in baseball, and as football season approaches many lose interest...

My brother in law is debating on not doing baseball this season since he doesn't know the players anymore and is really not willing to put in the effort anymore, especially now with 2 babies... I will try to convince him to stay, but if I cant, do I bow out too??

I avoid leagues that are just football offseason leagues. What's the point if nobody really cares?

The only thing this league does that I really like is that the last place team pays the 3rd place team. So there is some incentive not to suck. But I agree with you that football offseason leagues suck.

I played in a league for four years that consisted mostly of espn,com message board posters who I posted with regularly. I thought that was a lot of fun. Last year the league disbanded and I ended up joining a league with people I didn't know. I won the league, but it was not really much fun to me. Think I might just stick to playing daily games on fanduel or draftkings this year.
