this game shows that the LOS is crap . the o/line is killing us and our qbs and the key guys on the d/line are old . we have great lbs perhaps a couple of rising cbs , a good Rb stable and some very good wr's and te's but the trenches are simply not up to standard

Yup, haven't been for years. And we never learn. We pick up C+ guys, add them in, talk them up like they are an A-, and then realize they might not even be a C+ anymore.

well I'll be damned they are shooting for half a c note

Stymiette, that clearly sends a statement, they don't respect them. Until the the skins field some players that really want to compete, we'll continue to see this, year after year. It seems no matter the coach, no matter the players. The Redskins always embarrass themselves. I wish Gruden all of the luck in the world, trying to turn this culture around.

well let the debates begin but in my opinion it doesnt matter who the qb is you have to have a good o/line

so the crap about KC making the o/line better is just that

GK's Bs about polumbus is just that

i had us at 6 wins and that was an honest assessment but Rg3 of the brain overruled common sense and realism

now KC had a bad game , i get it, now let see what he does vs the hawks and the cards

but this KC is god crap needs to go

the o/line is a huge issue

Skinsdad, I really don't understand, why they don't commit to bolstering the O & D lines. Even Jerry Jones realized that. I know they have need at cb , and safety, as well, but they must get better in the trenches. They've refuse to properly address the RT postion, haven't had one, since Jansen.

look gruden picked long and moses . one or both could be an answer but center and RG are still issues

on the d/line hatcher is a good piece as is the young jenkins and baker. but the rest are old , cofield and bowen and golston and we need new pass rush blood . if you can rotate bowen and cofield and hatcher with some good young guys then you have something

and lets face it we are still 2 safeties short and a cb too

Good points. Cousins strength over RG3 is his decisiveness in his actions. As we have seen, that can also be a disadvantage.

I think tonight he has not done a good job of looking off and has been staring down receivers too much.

Oh... and a another one... :L

One of his major flaws has always been throwing into coverage & having a gambling mentality. Even before tonight there were examples of that but fortunately the other team didn't force an INT. I have a hard time believing that this will change anytime soon. We just have to accept the fact that whoever stays at QB will have flaws - at least for a while.

As far as expectations are concerned. I don't expect, Redskins teams to continually embarrass themselves. They're not going to win every game, but they don't have to play like they don't have a clue, either. Redskins fans have been dealing with these type of performances , for a while now.

Very true. I am just afraid that this team will need another few years, then another few, etc, etc. They just don't appear to be heading in the right direction right now. This is getting extremely depressing. They will probably show some signs of life with the next few months only because they are playing teams that are as bad as they are at the current time.

I also don't recall a Redskins team having this many injuries so early in the season - also depressing. We are truly being tested as fans right now.

Yep - I hope that Gruden & others issue a full apology tomorrow for that pathetic performance. I realize that there were players missing due to injuries but cmon.
