It pains me to say this but...
Caps in 7.
/side note, I saw Sid tonight and said "Sid good luck", He responded back "thanks you too"
I have advice too, but I am not really allowed to say it.
Stop beating around the bush, people.
It's probably get out to your local golf course because you may bump into some professional hockey players this week!
43's advice is avoid me because I'm an asshole. I'll say it because he can't and because it doesn't bother me. Some people love you, some people think you're an asshole. That's life.
I just did.
...and fuck Dallas!
I see you are also a Skins fan so, I naturally assumed your hatred for Dallas.[/MEDIA]
Yeah, I'm no Cowboys' fan that's for sure.
But "Fuck Dallas" is a common phrase on the NHL board you'll see. Stems from the Sabres-Stars Stanley Cup final in 1999 and a controversial goal.
They way it has worked out, the Pens have to play the Caps in the playoffs to win a Stanley cup...

I've been to Pittsburgh a couple of times to see the Steelers. I always tried to get a Pens game in but it never worked out.Yeah, I miss the old Igloo for the same reasons.
Those were some fun series' to watch. The Cap Center was such a hole, but so much fun to watch games there.

The Cap Center was great (except the parking lot and trying to leave it) when the only other times you would see a game was when the Caps would come down to Norfolk and play in the Norfolk Scope once a year.
Edit: I never realized the Cap Center had a similar sloping roof to the Saddledome in Calgary.
The new Arenas are amazing, but give me an old barn any day. All last season my son practiced in the 6,000 seat hole the Columbus Chill used to play in. Terrible and wonderful at the same time.
I grew up pretty much halfway between the Cap Center and The Spectrum. Great places to watch games. I've also been to the Igloo and the old Boston Garden. The rinks I spent the most time in were the Baltimore Civic Center and Hershey Park Arena. Not much compares to AHL hockey in a 100 year old building.
I saw a lot of amazing things in that building, and I had no idea at the time how really awful it was because the new style arena hadn't been invented.
And Jesus, you are right. Plan 3 extra hours to get off the parking lot.
And the same faint smell of manure.
Hershey park arena was awesome!!! The new Giant center is great but I too miss the old barns a bit
The upper deck was pretty much directly above the lower bowl. Steps were like this:
God, I loved that place.
