Isn't there enough evidence out there that shows Dallas needs to be a bit more aggressive on O vs the Vanilla crap they all game

Not trolling but they have to be a run oriented team. They have a superstar RB and a QB that is regressing. This is a pass oriented league and Dak can’t throw.

Is it possible for a QB to get less intelligent with exp? Not sure I have seen this before.

But hey, let’s waste our 1st round pick on an over priced receiver so we can see Dak is a career back up at best. Horrible franchise.

I also watched him run it out of bounds for a 2 yd sack when all he had to do was flick it 2 yds for an INC.

Cooper looked fine tonight. Dak looks like he got kicked in the head by a mule.

well we can steal Fitz for next year & wait for our next QB to be drafted the following year. Then Dak could play as a back up to the magic man LOL
At least you know he would move the offense.

Time to blow it up ala Gruden. Except we are still acquiring over priced talent. Dak is NOT the answer. Big Red is not the answer and neither are two former Lion HCs.

Dak simply isn't good enough. You can't pay him $20 million a year. He is in the Blake Bottles/Tyrod Taylor class. He isn't as good as Nick Foles or Alex Smith.

JG and Linehan should be fired tonight and Richard should be named HC to see if he can light a fire.

Amari Cooper may not be worth a first, but he is a good football player.

Sad to say, I'd have no problem moving on from Sean Lee after the season. He's broke and he can't be fixed.

A team with Zeke Elliott, Zach Martin, Demarcus Lawrence and Jaylon Smith, all Great young players, is 3-5 and just got thumped at home by a scrub Titans team. Time for big changes

So seriously, what do we do now, do we blow it up? We have some pieces that could get us some picks or do we fool ourselves and continue to be mediocre?

I want to see Sean lee move straight from player to LB coach next year :thumb:
I will always want him on the team.
We better not dedicate long term money to Dak
Everything else ...... Yep!

Wow. Just saw a stat on ESPN. We have a game managing Qb who leads the league in multiple turnover games the last two seasons with 10 and a 1-9 record during such time.

That won't happen, but it's bit the worst idea. Sign Fitz, Foles or Bridgewater and make Dak compete for the job. No one in the league is gonna pay him more than solid backup money when his deal runs out.
Dallas has the cap room to add an impact player to offset the lost 1st rounder. QB, Safety and TE have to be upgraded

We overpaid dude. We gave up a middle round first round pick or now possibly a top 10 pick for a guy headed to free agency soon. He is due to make 13 million next year and then to keep him we need to exercise an option for a fifth year that is expensive. We could have had at a lower cost and late in the first Calvin Ridley that would have been cheaper. We gave up a lot for him. We could have gotten Tate for a 3rd. Instead we blow a pick that could have been used on a QB so we have the epitome of a stupid franchise reaching and not realizing their state. Just needed Tate to evaluate Dak and our OC and Howdy Doody.

Todd Hailey was let go by Cleveland, in part because of the hardass he is. IMO, he would be a massive upgrade over Linehan, mid-season or not. JG and Linehan are 3-5. I bet Richard, Hailey and Coach Rod could top that the second half of the year

What is your fascination with picks? The last ten years, half the guys picked in the first round aren't worth a shit. Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Russell Wilson...three of the 4-5 best QB's in the League, none were 1st rounders. Cooper is a good football player who will help this team, this isn't the Roy Williams deal made over

Picks are important when you need to find affordable talent or a new QB. We have D Lawrence on franchise tag, Zeke will be up in two years, and Byron Jones will be up as well soon. We need a safety, and we also don’t have a QB. Cooper is a great pick if we are a player away but we are not and we are in a salary cap era. So that is why the pick may be more valuable. I like Cooper. Just think we have bigger issues than receiver. Oh and Zeke, Frederick, Smith, and Martin were some of our first round picks. As was Aikman, Smith, Irvin, Dez, Dorsett, Demarcus Ware etc. but then again we have picked Morris Claiborne.

Unfortunately, the Cowboys are not only going to move on from Dak, they will pay him $20 million per. Because of that, the Cowboys would have likely reached for a receiver in round one anyway. The deal is fine. The one positive in keeping Dak is that someone else's head must roll meaning the coaching staff will be rolled
