For as much as I want to vote for other positions. It's probably going to be a lineman. Going by Mayhew's past history. Even had to check DT since he has a love affair with them.

Anthony Barr. An impact linebacker is just what the Lions could use and Barr is that kind of talent. He played against much better talent than Mack. He is nearly as fast as Mike Evans and Ebron (for comparisons sake). He is Cliff Avril at worst and a monster defense altering OLB at best.

A corner would be good too.

Darqueze, Gilbert, or Clinton-Dix would be my pick, even though most would consider it a reach

I don't think Dix would be a "reach" he fits a need. I don't think a bunch of so called experts saying otherwise should sway anyone's thinking either...... if they really were experts they'd be in somebody's war room.

I finally voted, and I'm alone in my category and nobody else agrees with me. I'm stunned by that.

While I do not want the pick to be at #10 I have voted OL. This would be based solely on the Lions not trading up nor trading Suh (which I am sorry to say that if a new deal isnt announced by draft day that I am fully onboard and rooting for).

I believe the OL can be improved such that we can be a better running team, which will make us a more effective passing team. I think a deal could be made with the Cowboys to drop to #16. The deal is a swap of our 3rd rd pick for their 2nd rd pick, giving us the 12th and 15th picks in the second rd.

At #16 my selection is Zack Martin. He can play all 5 positions on the line. Versatility is huge here because we really dont know if Waddle would be the better LT and Reiff a better RT/G/C. This pick would let the Lions truly figure that out and put together a young and very talented o-line. I send Sims packing for a late rd pick and the cap savings.

Everything changes is Suh is traded.
