Time to start looking at the Jets game

Well this one should be interesting. The Jets have a better defense than we do. I havent really looked into thier offense or the level of competition they have played. I will admit it also will be interesting to see if the Jets get caught looking past us as they play the Pats the week after us. If any one has Jay's email, we might want to remind him to NOT abandon the ground game so quickly this week. Its fine that he realized it again this Monday after we lost, but I cant be the only one tired of seeing him do it only to realize it after the fact.

Side note, if we can get this one then... never mind no looking forward.

we may have to pass to set up the run . without DJ its too easy to load up the box . get jax back and then you have to think twice about that

I'm terrified of what that defense will do to our offense. Especially with Sheldon Richardson back. Whoever didn't see them competing this year was crazy cuz that defense is loaded.

we did well vs the dolphins front and the rams front . if we play like we are capable we can make it an even game

I think KC is going to have to have his best game in order for us to win Sunday. Their only weakness is Fitzpatrick. If we can get a couple of picks on him then we might have a chance. KC is going to have to be lights out for us to win.

Here's my question Dean..... based on what you've seen so far do you honestly believe that KC has another gear right now, but more important, that Gruden risks taking off the training wheels so that Kirk can put that gear on display?

well gruden in his presser acknowledged the play calling issue so perhaps he will but when he does and if errors occur will the public be forgiving ?

because right now i dont think gruden can do anything right in the minds of some

It's just one of those conundrums that Gruden faces.......if Kirk's not ready to be unleashed then the results could be disastrous and both of their jobs could be at jeopardy. If Kirk is ready, then holding him back could stunt his growth and have him seeing a future shrouded in the career backup/game manager cloak. At some point Gruden will have to reach that place where it's sink or swim. Don't quote me on this, but I honestly believe that game 9 issues in that time.

Without djax and reed, playing away and against what might be the best defense in the league, I seriously doubt that the play calling gets any less conservative this week.

The defense isn't the issue for the Jets. The QB is not good (I'm being nice) and the have no T.E. Marshall and Decker can preform but only if both are in and healthy (Or the other gets doubled). To beat the Jets you need to stop Ivory. Put everyone in the box and make Fitz beat you. They were completely lost against the Eagles without Ivory.

we need to get on top early and open up at least a 2 td lead because i think our defense should be able to keep the jets offense in check .

if we use quick passes we can neutralize the jets d/line and then set up a deep one

we need djax at least to do this , if not we have the uncertain ross and nothing else . carrier will have to get more 1st downs and the running game needs to get out of this rut

After a week on the road at Atlanta, we are facing a hot Jets team on the road that is coming off of a bye week. As this game approaches, adding in Gruden basically admitting he will abandon the ground game if it isnt dominating early... I think we are going to get blown out this weekend.

After a week on the road at Atlanta, we are facing a hot Jets team on the road that is coming off of a bye week. As this game approaches, adding in Gruden basically admitting he will abandon the ground game if it isnt dominating early... I think we are going to get blown out this weekend.

Don't know. I have a feeling that the jets offense isn't going to produce. I can see a low scoring game where we pull it out in the end. Something like 17-13.
