I'm predicting a Seahawks vs Broncos Superbowl. It seems like it's been a long time since two #1 seeds played each other in the Super Bowl, and I think it's due to happen. Especially since both teams have such homefield advantages. Granted, my opinion is probably a little biased by the fact that I'm a Seahawks fan.

Either that or Broncos Panthers. That's what I'm rooting for since the Dolphins are out.

I'd be shocked if either make it.

I've got Green Bay vs New England.

Broncos - Seahawks are solid picks since they're both at home and someone is going to have to beat them in their own houses.

Don't see anyone beating Denver...I could see the Panthers beating Seattle.

Shocked? I guess you're basing that off of Peyton's past playoff failures? And honestly, I think Carolina and the 49ers are the only NFC teams that have a chance at beating Seattle @ their house. The Eagles might have an outside chance, but I just don't see it.

This season I think the SB contenders will come from among teams who have a first-round bye.

Add in SF and that's the likely pool IMO.

eh, sure both #1's could make it but typically only #1 (or none) make it.

Defense wins championships, so if we go according to that it'll be San Fran, Carolina, Cinci, New Orleans, or Seattle.

Not sure that has held true much lately. Last year the Ravens were ranked something like 17th in the regular season. The year before that the Giants were 27th. The year before that the Packers were 5th. The year before that the Saints were 25th. The year before that the Steelers were 1st. The year before that Giants were 7th. And finally the year before that the Colts were 21st.

All that to say that the old saying defense wins championships doesn't always hold true. There are many ways to win in the NFL these days. Last year for Baltimore it was because Flacco got hot and they got a couple of lucky bounces to go their way at the right time.

I feel pretty confident about the Seahawks making it. If I remember correctly, the Seahawks haven't lost a playoff game at home since 2004.

I have Seattle hoisting the trophy. Manning throws a late pick to seal the game, his norm

Cincy is so up and down and their offense is a one trick pony. Dalton to Greene. They'll beat SD but lose to NE next weekend.

New Orleans can't win on the road.

'Frisco, Carolina and New Orleans I'll buy.

Cam Newton had his two worst games as a pro against the Seahawks in his own stadium, no way will he be able to beat the Hawks in their stadium. Saints or 49ers might have a chance to beat the Hawks, but that's about it.
