Game Thread: Timberwolves Hosting Lakers, 8:00PM ET, February 4, 2014

There is already a pro-Lakers game thread on their board. But as a Celtics fan
and grandson of a Minnesotan I feel a strong urge to start a pro-Wolves thread.

Minnesota comes in 23-24, 14 1/2 games behind the Oklahoma City Thunder
in the Western Conference, 11-17 in conference, 13-8 at home and having split their
last 10.

Lakers come in 16-31, 7 games behind Minnesota and 16 games behind their SoCal rival Clippers,
who are now coached by former Celtics coach Doc Rivers. As a longtime Boston resident
I get a charge out of that last.

If KLove does leave Minnesota I would prefer seeing him go to the Warriors, Kings or Clippers so he can help BEAT the Lakers.

Better the Lakers than the Wooden Knickles or the OverHEATed however.

Didn't know until a few minutes ago that the Warriors are playing later tonight.

A Bay Area team gaining a game on a Smogtown team would be a nice extra for me.

this game has gotten sloppy, I thought the under was dead but they have very consistently slowed down the scoring...and now nobody hits anything, very nice, keep it up!!!
