If you were an NFL/GM and were looking for the franchise QB for your team. Who would you choose Tim Tebow or Johnny Manziel? Stats, characteristics, talent, leadership, ect...all play into it.

(And yes I know both of them beat OU) This was just a question on the radio this morning.

Seriously?

Why would any NFL GM take Tebow?

This question wouldn't even make sense if you were just talking college

Odds a Florida fan is the first one and probably only one to pick Tebow?

I voted Tebow because I'm contrarian.

one is known what he can do in the NFL, one is not. Should be a no brainer if on nothing else than that.

considering Tebow already failed and now works for ESPN I will take the guy who is still playing football. Plus Johnny wont preach to me.

I like Tebow I know it's not the popular choice but some of those Bronco performances were crazy. I think he could do it with the right coaching and scheme.

Nothing against Manziel but I'm not sold he can win at the NFL level and at least Tebow has a NFL playoff victory under his belt.

Note I'm only taking Tebow if that is the only option on the table.

Where is LeSean McCoy's 2 year old? He's got my vote.

I like Tebow as a person. And while he came through somewhat in the end of those Bronco performances, I'd say it was the defense that won those games really.

I'm not a huge fan of Manziel by any stretch, but he can throw the ball better and he is faster and is somewhat of an escape artist. Tebow's size helped him a bit in college as an inside run threat, but that's not all that much help in the NFL.

Don't like either as pro QBs, but in this case I would take Tebow...just size alone, I would think he'd be more durable over the course of his contract.

Good points, but if Vick can get hit, any fast QB can and will get hit in the NFL...my reasoning for picking the bigger guy....that said I agree JM is a better passer...if he can consistently find throwing lanes he won't be terrible 20 yds and in.

You're better off putting 10 guys on the field and snapping the ball on the ground every play than choosing either.
