I figure this needs its own thread. We are about to embark on a new journey. I know I will be the only one who is optimistic about the hire, and with good reason......the guy hasn't proven much, except that he can take over an 0-16 team and turn them into a Tourney qualifying team in a few years.

I don't know..........in 5 years at CSU, he improved his record every single year........so it seems like he at least knows how to build.

I don't think anyone can build here unless recruiting is improved. Especially the recruiting of big men. No more fucking internationals, they are soft. Diaz has a good hook and can block some shots but I've never seen him dunk. I know two points is two points but in college the dunk can pump up the crown and teammates. He gets a rebound with a wide open lane to the hoop and he just softly lays it in. He also misses some shots because he tries finesse instead of just taking it to the hole strong. Almeida looks like he has a little bit more toughness to his game, but can't get his fat ass healthy. Niemann has just be a huge disappointment.
