That would be my guess and officially retire as a Patriot. Is he going to sign with NE for one day?
Not saying it isn't true...But his dad say's it's not true.ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Tom Brady is retiring from the NFL after 22 seasons.
The greatest football player of all time and one of the most incomparable American athletes of any era, Brady had never so much as hinted at retirement before the past few weeks. It certainly isn't because of his play, which remained at an MVP level for 2021. Brady's family and the lack of anything left to prove seemed to be the deciding factors. From a sixth-round pick in the 2000 NFL Draft – 199th overall – to seven Super Bowl titles, three MVPs, five Super Bowl MVPs, and countless other accolades, Brady's career is the epitome of a David turned Goliath, and it's unlikely there will be another sports story like his during our lifetimes. In addition to Brady's likely unmatchable postseason feats, he finishes his career No. 1 all time in both passing yards (84,520) and touchdowns (624). We will hear plenty from Brady between now and then, but his next NFL step will be Canton, Ohio.
That would be my guess and officially retire as a Patriot.
There's a lot of paperwork.Didn't he just officially retire a Buccaneer?
Most importantly, more wins than any player ever, by a large, large margin. In addition to Brady's likely unmatchable postseason feats, he finishes his career No. 1 all time in both passing yards (84,520) and touchdowns (624).
It's more than TB wanting to be a control freak.TB12 is a control freak. Especially when it comes to his brand or family.
Word is that he has not informed the Bucs officially and was planning to do it when he returned from vacation.
Rappaport stands by his sources and agrees that it wasn't supposed to get out. Like any reporter these days, being first is critical to one's reputation and status. Better he report it and take the crap from Brady's father than not to report it and be left holding an empty bag.
lol like he needs moneyThen there's this...
Tom Brady set to be paid millions as retirement reports loom
Tom Brady may be retiring after 22 seasons in the NFL with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Even still, he’s set to be paid handsomely in the coming days.www.foxbusiness.com
TB to replace the clown? How about this? Looking to the future.....................
Commissioner Tom Brady??
Tom Brady, President of Football Operations, Miami Dolphins??
I don't really care if he mentioned the Patriots. That facet of his life and our franchise history are over.
