Geno is lame. I think he's going to be a failure because of his attitude, but even if he'll eventually be any good he's nowhere near ready.

Game isn't over. I would love them to score on a game-winning drive here.

Seriously??? The Jets aren't going to leave a guy back on the punt with 1:17 left t' go?

With 1 minute & 17 freeking seconds to go and no time outs? :gaah:

Mike Mayock thought Geno Smith had a "solid effort" tonight???

Is he serious?

I don't think that is a late hit. Talib was still in the air and had not come down out of bounds at the time of contact. He also didn't even try to wrap him up.

I get the human body does dumb things in the heat of the moment, especially men, but I've never understood how so many players can throw closed fisted punches to another man's head when that man is wearing a helmet. It's one of the dumbest things you consistently see in football.

and is he afraid to run? very indecisive... he has no real WR IMO so one would think his legs would be quicker but he stayed waiting for pigs to fly lol

I'm still pissed that we passed on Stephan Hill and took AJ Jenkins

I completely agree, that helmet is meant to withstand incredible blows, a punch isn't going to do much.

When Deion Sanders fought Andre Rison he knocked out 2 teeth and both were wearing helmets when the punches were thrown.

Me too. Stephen Hill will likely turn into the next Demaryius Thomas. They are both big and fast receivers out of Georgia Tech that were not featured much due to the Triple Option offense. Thomas took several years to fully develop into a receiver, but now looks to be a pretty good #1 option for Manning. I think next year or the year after (especially if the Jets get a QB) we will see Hill take a major step forward just like Thomas did.
