The problem I have with TNF is the advantage it gives these teams over their next opponet, an unfair advantage.

And, how many times did we hear, he'd be playing if not for the short week?

I though it got better, so I'm hoping it continues that trend. I could do without the color rush though. Not sure exactly why but I didn't care for it.

Why won't they air them on normal channels every week instead of ten? Do people really buy a NFL Network package just to see a few Thursday games? That seems like kind of a ridiculous strategy.

I disagree. In terms of best matchups, I think it goes SNF>TNF>MNF but the quality of the games changes yearly

I think that MNF>TNF. You're rarely going to get a meaningless game between teams like the Titans and Jaguars on MNF.

I pretty much stopped watching the late Sunday games by the middle of the season. The Monday Night Fooball games were disappointing too.

Monday Night had bad matchups due to a lot of teams disappointing but almost all of their games came down to the final 5 minutes

I think CBS/NBC ponied up for X number TNF games so NFLN was forced to keep the duds...seriously I have no idea. But to answer your question...no, this people did not buy the next tier up to get it. This was after a good 10 yr run of Sun Tkt and NFLN...dropped DTV entirely, I didn't miss it really.

I stopped watching night football years ago unless the Skins are playing. I tried many times to stop watching them as well, but couldn't help myself.

I typically DVR those late games to watch early in the AM because I will and often do fall asleep.
