I lean this way too. Warriors have never been able to stop Durant. The thing is, OKC's defense is mediocre so the Ws would just outscore them. Big bench disparity too. So tonight is the perfect example, Durant scores 40 and they lose by 8 just like the bookies said they would. OK I talked myself into leaning the other way.

Kanter is their only consistent bench player. Payne is a rookie and is getting better but Morrow need to be more consistent.

What is your point? Can you read? OKC can run their offense with other guys being involved in the play (This does not have to include fg attempts from those players) but the ball will usually end with a shot by Westbrook/Durant. That is fine but that is not what happened in the final 3 minutes. Those guys were going 1 on 5 with the other players not being involved in the play at all. There is a difference.

Not every team is Golden State or San Antonio. Westbrook and Durant will always get majority of shots but they need to just do a better job of involving the other 3 guys in the crucial moments of a game.

You did not watch the same game as I did. They were playing within the offense until the final 3 minutes when they decided to go 1 on 5. Sorry you can't comprehend the difference between playing within the offense and getting your shot to not playing within the offense and playing 1 on 5.

Well they do have 4 losses. Most of them could have a lot to do with them beating themselves but that first loss against the Bucks was the result of them playing better team ball than GS that night.

Saying they can't defend is just not true. 10th in DEF EFF and 5th in OPP FG% just barely behind GSW and SAS. They're a solid defensive team.

Sure, there is no question that a couple of teams have the potential to trip them up. But the bookies will have the Ws favored and they do this for a living. Being favored doesn't mean you win every time.

Yeah they'll be favorite in every series. No question about that. I just kind of wish the Clips had one of those years where they approach high 50 wins so OKC can drop to 4th. I would love to see GSW go through both OKC and SAS to get to the finals but at the moment that looks unlikely as those teams are likely to end up as the 2 and 3 seeds

Which is EXACTLY why they won't sweep every series they play. But, they have found a way to rally when the game is on the line more times than not. Great to watch as a basketball fan in general.
