You could tell in the first period that they weren't interested or involved. They played better in the 2nd, but still just not good enough and gave up two goals. That 3rd goal pretty much seals their fate.

Here's the thing, though. Why should teams be rewarded for tanking (especially under a hard salary cap)? All 30 teams should have an equal chance at the No. 1 pick, in my opinion.
