I didn't know the B1G allowed alcohol sales. UofL has a tequilla bar at the Yum Center. SU sells beer.

Time to catch up douggie. D1 is a Professional League now. Might as well get in on the adult beverage action.

You can get liquor at all venues if you run in certain circles. Duke has a couple of set ups. The Varsity Club(Former Players) has a whole area designed to feed and host former athletes. Then for season ticket holders, there is a set up just inside the gate within 30 feet of the stadium, to drink alcohol, eat, and meet other fans. Wake Forest has the "Deacon Club" at Joel Coliseum, NC State has the Wolfpack Club in Vaughn Towers, etc.

There's plenty of alcohol partaking at all the sites. But having Maryland taps open at it's sporting events is like handing a chimpanzee a loaded machine gun.

Meh, don't see a problem here. College basketball is pretty popular, if adults want to attend they should be able to get alcohol there, the same as in the professional sports.

I'm a member of the Deacon Club.

and the part that I put in bold is the reason why this is thread worthy. Maryland fans don't have the best reputation.

Don't students bring flasks anyway? At UA they're either already drunk or have flasks strapped to their legs.

Yup this is what most do. The issue is Maintaining that drunk especially if you have to wait outside forever before the big game. That's why most go to the flask. But that isn't foolproof(though ud have to be pretty dumb to get caught)

Having it sold is basically a slam dunk got students.
