Pretty cool design actually. Too bad we never really get to see them on the field.

You're not missing much. They suck. Another vaunted conference opponent for Boise. They are easily one of the worst teams if not the worst in a Group of 5 conference, not good. They have a long ways to go. I do like the unis though. The "welcome to Las Vegas" logo on the helmet is tight.

With six more bowl slots that means that means there will be 82 teams in 42 bowls. The College Football Playoff Championship Game does not count as a stand-alone postseason game because it does not require two unique teams. Going into last season the four-year average for bowl-eligible teams was 73.75.

Approximately 64 percent of the Football Bowl Subdivision will now be bowling. One athletic director here for conference spring meetings wondered whether 5-7 teams would soon be needed to fill out bowls. The current qualification standard is 6-6.

5-7 teams need those extra practices too.
