wait.. people "love" patrick wah?

I "love" the way he played. He forced a lot of change into the position, and led a crop of phenomenal goaltending. The effects of his style are long lasting.

But personally, the guy's an asswipe.

Patrick doesn't give a shit about what your saying because he has his Conn Smythes sticking out his ass.

/I don't think I did that right.

I loved the guy as a player, phenomenal talent. Not so much as a person.

Roy got upset that his 18 year old first overall pick took a knee-knee and then the Ducks send out their 4th line. Not too concerned about this happening every game.

You guys can talk about Roy's personal temper all you want. This Avs team is the same core group from last year, yet played monumentally better last night. Some teams need the coach that will standby and do little, and others need a coach who has that fire. The Avs right now are the latter, and it showed.

The event itself was hilarious. Could you imagine what Roy would have done when Crawford sent Bertuzzi after Steve Moore?

Thank goodness Martin Brodeur was there to backstop Canada to gold in 2002 when Patty Wah bailed on the team to go watch his son play a minor hockey tourney. Oh, you just thought you'd stroll in to camp and get handed the starting goalie position, eh Patty?

I'm pretty sure that is the best NHL debut for a kid from Cole Harbour we've ever seen, but I don't want to start anything.

Well, that put all kinds of amusing images in my head.

Isn't this why they hired him? Seriously, a sideshow like him will get the Avs on TV far more often.

This was my thought when they hired him.

He caught me off gaurd. I thought he would keep it together for at least a couple months. Up 6-1?

I can't wait for their first 6 game losing streak. Tortorella was laughing when he watched TSN last night.
