Meh, I had a big thing typed up, but I'd rather not piss a bunch of people off. Like I said, I'm a registered Republican, but what I was about to say would probably just piss a bunch of Republicans off.

But I'll just say this..........we launched a "War Against Terrorisim"

I mean hell we just dove right in with no plan of attack...........we were just gonna fly over there and kill them somebitchin no good terrorists...........this is why the first few years we wasted our time, until we finally figured out what we were doing. But before that, we got a bunch of our own people killed....

I happen to agree with you but at the same time 9/11 changed everything. Still, I'm not happy with the last 10 years, that's for sure. Seems like the government came to the conclusion that they'd just go into Iraq and Afghanistan guns ablazing and go from there. Not exactly a good plan...

And now the country is having serious debt problems like never before...hmmm could it be because the country just spent 8 or 9 years fighting unwinnable wars? That at least heavily contributed to it anyway.

I think it's probably a good thing to differ from your own party from time-to-time. I'm a Dem, but I didn't like the auto bailout and a bunch of things with the stimulus package. Our country could stand to balance the budget more often, and Presidents from both parties have done a lousy job of that over the past, oh half century, save for Bill Clinton and a Republican Congress.

Unfortunately, the media environment we have today only polarizes people, stirs up anger rather than good debate, and rewards rhetoric over solutions.
