I'd say juries still out on Anderson. We'll know in a year or two.

I would put Bill O'brien above Dantonio with what he did last season.

Dantonio and Pelini are both middle of the pack.

I'd put Fitzgerald top 3 only because what he has done with what he has to work with. Doesn't mean NW will ever be anything other than a spoiler but he is a good coach.

The top 5 are exactly correct!!! Fitz is a whitch doctor almost like Bill Snyder for what he does with what he's got. They might even win the division this year. Dantonio is one of my favorite coaches in the country!!!! Let's see if O'Brien can maintain it with the emotional energy starts to come down after the last 2 years. I love me some Anderson but lets see him do it at the big boy table first. I would put Bo right behind O'Brien and could even swap them 5 and 6. Bo is not in the top 4!!!! The guy that should be last is Ferentz!!!!

And where's Rutgers and Maryland if were doing people who haven't even coached a game in our league. When you keep getting blown out on national television... Especially at the end of the year.. People tend to focus on the negative.

It goes 1. Meyer 2. Fitzgerald 3. Pelini 4. Hoke 5. D'antoni.

How the fuck you can put a coach ahead of Bo who has no B1G experience as a HC I have no idea.

This is just another example of the horrible way Bo Pelini presents himself. Until he runs into a burning house to save a baby, he will always be disliked.

Pelini should be 5th or 6th because he still can't develop players nor get coaches that can do it.

Assuming Taylor made improvements last year, had nothing to do with Bo or the staff.

I thought about commenting on his game day coaching but its hit or miss...some days he coaches like a superstar..others he is outcoached like the Fonz in the Waterboy.

You can't get blown out on a regular basis and still be considered to be one of the top coaches. Up to this point consistency and player development are major failures for Pelini.

He is middle of the pack without SEC talent.

If Nebraska had gotten beat by Wiscy in the title game by 7 points or so, I would rate Pelini a tad bit higher. There was no excuse for a blowout in that game. Wiscy had 5 losses and a third string QB there for crying out loud.

I would put O'brien between Fitzgerald and P/D.

This is as of the previous season. It could all change if as Jed said O'brien can't keep it going without the emotion and I suspect Anderson will be nipping at the heels or right in front of D/P in the next few years.

As of right now though I agree if you give O'brien credit for what he did last season.

Chris Peterson? No way!!! It's really easy to get athletic academically challenged young men to come up to Boise with their lack of academic standards to play against inferior opponents and gear up for 1 big game a year but to go to the big boy table where there are real academic standards and real competition week in and week out is a whole new ball game!!!! There is a reason he hasn't left Boise.

And that is not me sucking up to Bo because everyone here knows I would never do that.
