Weird stat of the day. The last time 4 kickers missed an extra point in the same day was November 11, 1991. Odell Beckham Jr. wasn't even born yet.

Since then NFL teams have scored 245,744 total points (regular season only)
Kickers have made 25550 extra points
53 players have attempted a pass for the New York Jets.

That down and distance is going to haunt them. It seems like no matter what they do it fails. Might as well just hand the ball to the opposing team if they find themselves in that situation and are not punting.

I guess moving the xtra point from a 19 yarder to a 32 yarder is working.

So I am in a Money Pick'em league where you have to pay in something like $150 entry fee. My best friends dad since I was in middle school has always bought my way into this league and all he asks is if I win on a certain week that part of the winnings go to him for the entry fee but if I never win for the entire season I don't owe him anything. Thankfully for this year I am setting up nicely for a week 1 win and about a $200 return with well of course $150 going to him. Still nice now that any week after this is just money in my pocket. Need the Eagles to win tonight though.

So just checked out the Power Rankings over at NFL.com. They had us move down one spot because Peyton didn't look good. Seattle stayed in the top-3 though even after losing to a team that last week they had ranked 19th last week. Baltimore was ranked 14th. We win and drop down almost out of the top-10. Seattle loses and stays in the top-3. I understand power rankings are for what they think a team will be at the end of the season but the Broncos just beat a team that quite a few were/are predicting to be in the playoffs and possibly the representative in the Super Bowl for the AFC.

Given the writer for the power rankings did admit he was watching with Dave Dameshek so my guess is he had a bit of influence on that.

Excellent, I hope they rate the Broncos at 32. . What matters is what happen so no the field. Flip side is that PFT ranks us 3rd. I'd rather be below the radar for people only watching Peyton.

So interesting fact of the weekend. There were 7 coaches making their coaching debut this week in the NFL. They went 5-2 with the only two losing being John Fox and Jack Del Rio.
