Our first house in CO didn't have AC - was built in 1989. When we built this one in 2003, we built it with AC. With fires we had a few years ago, we were glad to have it so we could close up the house. When @Mingo moves to Durango in a couple years he will enjoy our cool Colorado evenings in the summer. But of course if he is like me he won't be a fan of March and April snows!

You live pretty high up ? You probably don't need AC long ? You live on a pass ?

We live on top of what is known as Monument Hill. It's the highest point between Denver and Colorado Springs and the ridge serves as a barrier for COS. So it does get hot during the day, in the 90s today, but then cools off at night. You can feel sorry for me in the winter: not so much in the summer. :)

2. Wade Baldwin, G, Vanderbilt
3. Jamal Murray, G, Kentucky
4. Demetrius Jackson, G, Notre Dame
5. Wayne Selden, G, Kansas

Yeah looks like I am a guard type of guy. ;)

I think Nuggets have #15 too. 3 first round picks

I want Buddy Hield or Jamal Murray at #7

Yeah you're right.

Good luck with hoping for Hield or Murray at 7.

I'd be pretty surprised.

Murray is a bit of a tweener, but a very good shooter.

Hield would be a natural tragedy if he fell to #7

(I am saying this in hopes that they actually fall too as Denver is my #2 NBA team)

TWolves and Pelicans should nab both. Could also see a team like Phoenix drafting one of them and trading them in a draft and trade deal.

I could imagine Denver could also be the team to trade with Phoenix wanting Hield or Murray before the other two teams pick.

Denver has a lot of picks this year and nobody needs 5 NBA draft picks. They are a prime team to trade even if it's for a future pick.

I think it would make sense for Phoenix to draft Hield or Murray. Denver draft Jaylen Brown do a draft and trade deal. Just one possibility.

It will be a surprise if Denver uses its 5 picks - almost certainly they will trade up at some point in the draft. Or trade away some picks for future picks. I also hope they are able to trade Faried (they are trying) to a team that can use him how he would be most effective - as a high energy guy off the bench. He would be a great #6 role player.

I'm hoping for, in order at 7:
1. Hield
2. Murray
3. Bender

At 15:
1. Korkmaz
2. Luwawu

At 19:
Valentine

I think we get at least one of these guys.

In his brief history, Connely as the GM has been very good in the draft. Making the trade with the Bulls two years ago and coming out with Nurkic and Harris and then getting Jokic in the second round - and last year getting Mudiay. They also drafted Lauvergne who looks good sitting on the bench. But overall shows Connely knows what he is doing so far.

Thinking about it more and more. Suns are in such a prime spot to draft one of Murray or Hield and then have Denver or the Kings draft Jaylen Brown or Marquise Chriss and then do a swap and pick up a future. Teams are gonna wanna jump the TWolves and Pelicans for these two shooters. I personally hope the Pelicans get one as I like them as a team. Twolves could be getting dangerous here if they are able to nab one of these two. Both are huge needs for these two teams as both teams have a lot going for them down low.

Boston is also very interesting. Working on a possible trade. Will they take Kris Dunn at #3 and trade Marcus Smart or will they keep Smart and trade #3?

Good list Springy

I think Denver should trade Faried and Gallo (Gallo because injury prone) I expect 3 Foreign players tonight)

Bender is 18 and has the length and shooting unusual for such a tall guy. Youngest player in the draft, so has time to mature physically. If Connely has him rated high enough to take him, I'd be excited about his future prospect. (But I think he will likely be gone.)
