I'd give the starter's edge to JT Shrout the Sophomore transfer from Tennessee. Brendon Lewis is legitimate Freshman competition to Shrout and - frankly Lewis might finish the season as the Starter. Lewis brings an extra dimension of run threat, escapability and big plays downfield. Shrout is no slouch as an athlete either, but he has already started and played in big games and that gives him the early edge over Lewis. I'd say Shrout starting against Texas A&M is a sure thing - he started against them two years ago and beat them.
