I have just a small point to make about Vince Fangio's coaching philosophy:

The last two years - the Broncos did not use the rookie mini-camp for anything but orientation - no on field activities. This was VJ's decision to avoid injuries.

Fangio, however, wanted the rookies on the field getting used to the schemes and rigors of pro-football. This allowed him to invite other players to the rookie camp and when it was over - he made roster changes. Roster changes on the margins of a 90 man roster, but every little bit helps in Fangio's view. I continue to like how this man runs a football team.
