Ain't nothing boring about having your team in round 2 of the NBA postseason, as well as round 2 of the NHL playoffs. Throw in the Rockies winning 10 of the last 13 and it's looking like it will be a pretty good sports month around here. Of course, nothing is quite as tantalizing as Denver Broncos football but those others will suffice for now.

The Nuggets played well last night, but they will not hit 40% of their 3s on the average this series. As a casual NBA fan - it was the first time I got to focus on Damion Lillard - very impressive.

He’s a star that everyone likes. Unlike Harden, Westbrook, LeBron - they all have their detractors. But fans of opposing teams respect the way he plays the game.

Back to the three point thing - they hit 35% for the year from 3, so yes, 40% is above that. But the 2 for 20 in game 7 was more of an aberration than the 40%.

My bigger concern is rebounding. The Nuggets didn’t rebound last night as well as they typically do. And against a depleted front court of the Blazers, that ain’t good.
