Speaking of him…

Doug Shedden had a hat trick in the first period of this game against the Canucks.

IIRC he fanned on a couple of easy tap ins from 66 and hit the post a few times.

He really should have had 6 goals in this game.

Lots of goals and fights. I miss 80’s hockey.

Yeah, when they first brought in legalized sports betting into Canada (I think it was the late 80's or early 90's and the two main games were Sport Select and Pro-Line), the over/under for most hockey games was 7.5 and I even remember seeing some 8.5). I remember one night I had a $2 wager with 10 games to win $200 and on the last game of my ticket, I was all set to win when Robert Reichel scored an empty-netter turning an under result into over and screwing me in the process.

/Never liked Reichel lol
