Not always true. They split duties quite a bit on that. They are like the Seahawks in they just stay to one side of the field. Harris also has the ability to play in the slot as he graded out as the best nickel corner in the league as well as 2nd on the outside. So one could say he is the most versatile Corner in the league being able to line up at any of the Corner spots and still be successful. Heck they even played him at the safety position some this past year and he still had great success.
no he is not underrated... when he shuts down #1s on a weekly then we can visit that

So I'm guessing you are not a fan of Sherman either? Or how about Revis? Just looking at one game (The Divisional Round of the Playoffs this past year) Revis when playing the Ravens only matched up against Steve Smith on about half of the passing downs. That is the NFL of today where no one Corner fully follows around a #1 WR all game long. Teams have figured out that it is just easier and better overall to leave a guy in one spot instead of having to reverse field.

no but vontae davis is alot better then chris harris...... vonate is underrated...

So says you...There are plenty of other things called stats that show different. Also just look at the NFL Network top-100. Chris Harris didn't even make the list even though he graded out as the best Corner in the league and has given up the fewest touchdowns over the last 3 years of any Corner in the game. Vontae Davis made the list so how can you say he is underrated when he is the one getting noticed over that of Chris Harris?

Honestly with each post you make me believe more and more how little you know about Chris Harris. First off he only spent about 40% of all snaps this past year playing in the slot. The fact that he can play both inside and outside and still be a top tier corner compared to those in the same spot should show the guy is deserving of respect. They are two very different types of technique so the fact that during a game he can switch and still keep his guy without a catch is just pretty darn impressive. Just to give you an idea on things Harris played 73 more coverage snaps than that of Richard Sherman but still gave up fewer yards for the season. He also held the QB to a lower passer rating when throwing his direction.

Again also with the going against #2 and #3 WR's please go look at the stats for the number of snaps against each of those type of receivers and get back to me. You might be a little surprised at how very little #1 Corners in this league actually follow around a #1 WR.

ima end it with this... you never have to look at the numbers... to see who the best players are.

nnamdi asomugha used to only play one side of the field, he took that whole side of the field away, but if the other teams #1 played on the other side, well then nnamdi asomugha wasnt any good

How often have you actually watched him play? I've watched every game of his career many of them twice. Maybe we can talk when you actually know what you are talking about here. Chris Harris is not the main stream media darling because he was an undrafted player that no one thought would make the league and because he keeps his mouth shut and just does his job. Just look at the top-100 list and they have Patrick Peterson in the top-20 at 19. Peterson gave up 8 touchdowns this last year alone where Harris has given up 3 total and has played more snaps in that same time span. Yet Peterson is a talker and a 1st round top-10 pick so he gets noticed.
