1) In just four games, the Wings have had 13 different goal scorers.

2) It's nice to enjoy some of these games since the Wings are done early. I know it sucks to not make the playoffs at all for some of you, but watching intense hockey without biting your nails off is pretty cool.

First of all the fact that we made the playoffs after being 10-12 points out of a playoff spot in mid December.

Very pleased that the Sabres are hanging in there without Roy (their best player before being injured) and Hecht (probably the best PK player on the team) it's too bad Pommers is injured because he is a solid all around player and has a GWG this series.

VERY happy with the fact that so many of the young players have contributed. This makes the future look very good. The defense has been caught in their own zone a lot and made some mistakes but remember Myers is only in his second year, Butler, Weber, and Gragnani are playing in their first playoffs. These guy's are only going to get better.

Ennis, Gerbe and McCormick also are first or second year players with little exp. They scored four goals in the last game, three of them by rookies. I love the way these kids have handled the pressure. Luke Adam was named ROY in the AHL making that three years in a row a Sabres prospect has won the award.

We now have a dependable back-up goalie. Even if this team doesn't get past the first round I'm very proud of the resiliency they have shown.

With the new owner and attitude I am very comfortable saying the future looks good for this team.

People that say they are nothing without Miller didn't see them win some must win games down the stretch when Miller was injured. Against some of the best teams in the east ON THE ROAD.

I don't care how they got up 3-2 in the series the fact is they got there against a team that went to the finals last year. On paper this series should not have been close but except for one game they have all been one goal games. The one exception was a EN goal. Both teams have 12 goals in the series.

Thank You Sabres! No mater what happens this year I am pumped for the future. The "big teams" in the east better take notice because there is a very young team gaining experience getting closer in the rear view mirror.

Did you check out the thread titled "first take debates NHL vs NBA playoffs?" Even Skip Bayless, who is a big NBA fan, said the NHL playoffs are way more exciting. There's nothing, and I mean NOTHING, that compares to the NHL playoffs for excitement.
