Your perception and opinion of his fandom is just that, your perception and opinion. Point in case, I move around alot for my companies contracts and in those times I am considered a permanent resident of that state, which would, under your definition, give me ties to pull for a state team. That is total bullshit as I could then claim that team always because I lived in that state once and became a fan. I have lived in 41 states in my lifetime, thus I can claim any teams i pretty much want and have a tie to that team as long as it is from one of 41 states. Your definition sucks, pretty much like its owners opinion.

Like I said earlier, anyone can choose to do anything they want. And I can choose to think t shirt fans are lame as fuck when it comes to college sports.

And if you chose to root for all those teams you would be lame as fuck too for not picking a team and sticking with them.

My definition makes up about 95% of actual college sports fans. Probably even more.

Most fans don't go out and hand pick some team that is no where close to where they live. Only the ones needing to fill those empty voids IMO.
