Every year there's always a favorite (from each conference) heading into the playoffs, but this year I can honestly see 6-7 teams from the West reaching the finals and 3-4 teams from the East making it.

I think whoever comes out of the West will win it all, but this could end up being a very exciting playoffs. Maybe better than last year's, which is saying a lot.

Agree.

Every Team has it's warts.

Depending on who comes out of the West, the Bulls/Raps/Wiz could have a punchers chance.

I think the Cavs have the talent. But, not the mental fortitude.

The Hawks have been impressive too.

Gotta love Horford.

I'm not ready to call the Wizards a contender just yet, I think Toronto is more complete than them and would also put Chicago and even Cleveland (never count out LeBron) ahead of them, but with how weak the East they certainly have a shot. It would just be weird to see the Wizards in the finals, lol.

Another team to watch is Atlanta if they stay healthy.

I think the Mavs would beat anyone of these teams.

Atlanta isn't that good but they are better than last year.

Before the season, I predicted Chicago vs Washington and I stand by that prediction. The Cavs lost Varejao for the season and IRving is now hurt.

I could see that happening. My prediction was Chicago-Cleveland I believe, but I may put Toronto ahead of Cleveland with how things stand now.

John Wall is absolutely FILTHY.

He looks like a passing DRose pre-injury.

Finally living up to the hype.

Wall is better than Irving imo and I've been saying that for about a year now. Burns Wiggy's ass.

Call me a homer but if not for a couple injuries it would be abundantly clear. I still like the Thunders chances this year because of the reason you started the thread.

Call me a homer...
But the healthy SPURS are still the team to beat.

I am just worried that they might never get healthy.
There might not be such a thing as the healthy SPURS.

I cannot remember the last time Leonard, Parker, Duncan, and Ginobili all played together.
They are actually undefeated when all 4 play, but it almost never happens this season.

Leonard and Diaw miss the Thunder game on thursday....but Parker comes back...which lasts one game

Thankfully Diaw comes back today, but then Parker misses the Pelicans game today.

It has been nothing short of insanity.

Old players, Young players, backcourt, frontcourt, coaches (even Pop missed 2 games to injury)

They might not even make the playoff unless they get healthy.

I didn't look at tge stats, but Jordan Hill and Ed Davis, has to be or one of the best, offensive rebound front court in the league.
