Anybody remember when the Raiders were good?

Me neither.

Actually, I call California home. I lived in the Bay area when the Raiders were good and New England usually sucked.

I like things better these days.....

Haha who was it little Sullivan (Billly?) tried to fight from the Raiders on the sideline at the end of a game?

Good times.

My friend, the bias is in which statistics they chose to include and omit in their study results. For example, of course they're going to conveniently omit the fact that Brady is tied for the 3rd-most interceptions thrown in postseason history or that his postseason passing yards/game ranks 17th all-time.

They also put the division titles that his team has won in that article, but they omit the fact that they have played in a cupcake division for 12-14 years.

Also, they talked about his clutch drive in SB 38, but they omit the fact that John Kasay kicked the ball out of bounds.

If you want an article about Brady in the playoffs, this is better:

He isn't #1 because of 2 Loses to the same team in the Super Bowl but I got him in my Top 3 and maybe #2. Overall Im a Brady fan and think he is way ahead of Payton.

I was just busting on one particular Raider fans chops. I actually like the Raiders and have rooted for them since the early 70's..................just never against New England.

You mean like the cupcake division the Broncos play in? Seriously, your argument has no merit. During the BB/Brady era New England has a better (slightly) winning % outside of their division than in it.

True, but doesn't fit their pre-built in narrative.

Montana can't hold Brady's jock. See?

I'm not bashing Brady, but this is meaningless. If Brady played when corners could ride receivers, safeties could lay them out, and any defender was free to knock the piss out of the QB, his numbers wouldn't be the same. If Montana played with today's rules, he might push 80% and Marino might throw for 6000 yards....seriously

What if Brady had a full decade of Jerry Rice? What if Montana constantly changed targets and coaches?

Tom wouldn't have made it a decade. He cries when he gets touched now. Go to youtube and google the Eagles 12 sack game against Troy Aikman in the early 90's. Brady would have been flopping like a fish
