I've seen enough of your posts to know you have a total hardon for that. It's just talent at this time/level. They have a QB that can hit some fairly tight spots and reads decently and players that can complete plays. You could put that group in pretty much any scheme and they would be winning. Scheme can makeup for bad players, but this is an early developmental league. No team is tight on any scheme given their lack of experience together. It's almost purely about who has the best mix of talent right now. Those other things will matter more in the future.

Seattle's D is often slow and out of position. Particularly in their joke of a secondary. They would probably be 2-2 going into this game had Daniels started the whole season, but at best they are lower/middle tier talentwise. They need help to beat more talented teams.

It's gonna be fun watching it take over the PAC 12 :yo:

Can't really disagree what you're saying tho. The only team talent wise who can match-up with Houston is St. Louis. Tampa Bay looks stronger every passing week, but we'll see.

Wow. They screwed up at end there. There was still time on clock when Walker kneeled on 4th down

lol at the commentators trying hard to get them to come back for the 2secs on the clock.

Did they fuck that up? Yeah, sure, probably. Still, they are acting like the SB is on the line. It's a B league and a game that wouldn't matter either way for either team. Let it go.

Wasn't a question of 'worth playing'. They had screwed up and called the game over. It wasn't worth trying to drag everyone back after fans had left and getting everyone out of the locker room. Mistakes were made. Meh.

Statement from the XFL:

XFL said:
Saturday's Seattle Dragons-Houston Roughnecks game should not have ended as it did. Replays showed clearly that the knee of Houston quarterback P.J. Walker touched the field, rendering him 'down' and the fourth-down play officially completed, with approximately two seconds remaining on the clock -- effectively turning the ball over on downs. With a nine-point differential in the score, Seattle was denied an opportunity to tie the game. The XFL sincerely regrets this error.

XFL said:
In addition, Wes Booker, who served as officiating supervisor for Saturday's game, has been reassigned.

Sincere kudos for admitting an officiating error the same day and reassigning a ref. That never seems to happen with the NFL, which likes to pretend there aren't severe problems with its officiating.

Landry may be a turnover machine, but the Renegades have no offense without him.

Maybe DC wakes up and remembers how to football, but I'm expecting St. Louis / Jordan Ta'amu to roll.

DC's defense looked like how it was during the first couple of weeks. They're winning this defensive battle. St. Louis still has trouble stopping the option.

St Louis play calling on these 4th and shorts is so shitty. They keep running up the middle and haven’t really been that successful all game and yet keep trying same play.
