Also heard somewhere that it is likely that the actual "War" won't even start until next season... This second half of season 7 is just the build up/gathering for it...

If that's true, I'm not sure how many viewers will wait around...

This is pretty much spot on. I've loved the show from the get-go, but only the blind can't see the rapidly declining quality. It's become a worse comic book version of the comic book. Cash cow still, and AMC will milk it for all it is worth.

Can't even fault them for that, it's just business. Always about business in the end.

However, I'll stick around. Like others, I'll go to DVR (already have), but I'm kinda fascinated to see how it all plays out.

Oh, my Rosita...I loved you so much, my little enchilada...it pains me that your acting skills have actually become a turn-off.

See I don't really agree. I think the show has been really good up until the second half of this season. I'll even venture to say that before last season i thought the show was "good" and moved into "great" last season. Now though, meh. Rick walking around smiling at those silly scavengers while he fights off mad-zombie-max in armor. Lolz.

2) Glenn crawling under the dumpster. Find me ONE dumpster with enough clearance to crawl under, and MAYBE I can forgive this. But as it is, that was the show lying to the viewers, pure and simple.

This was bad. Real bad. But it didn't ruin it for me. I just pretended the idiots never did it.

There isn't a point at which I can divide the show between good and shitty, but I know that during the season where there was a canyon full of walkers and since, there's been a fair amount of episodes that I was checking the clock to see how much was left because I wanted to do something else.

I'm not there yet. But I think a lot of people are.

Nah. The "shark" was two-fold.

1) The abandondoned cliffhanger of Rick in the RV while the giant herd surrounds him (only to solve it by having Rick just walk into Alexandria without even a mention of what happened)

And...

I still want to see the war. I want to see Carol kick ass again. I like Michonne and I like her t-shirt selection. I want to see any number of Saviors get their comeuppance.

They'll figure out something. It took forever for Breaking Bad and Mad Men to finally finish.
