Machado and Donaldson got in each others face last night. I wish Machado would've decked him. The O's then beaned him. Nelly also tried to steal home in the 10th. I'm not sure why but it cost them. They made 2 outs at home in the same inning.

Machado and Donaldson got in each others face last night. I wish Machado would've decked him. The O's then beaned him. Nelly also tried to steal home in the 10th. I'm not sure why but it cost them. They made 2 outs at home in the same inning.

Even though Machado was the douchebag in that scenario, all Donaldson did was tag him and then Machado fell down, that's bush league on Machado's part, there must have been more to that than they showed

Interesting for sure but Choice has the on base skills to make it work, he just has to get the hits too

If Choice can get that average into the 250-270 range it might work

I feel the same about good red meat. Gonna have to take a rain check this time however, I got an offer for today's game at the ballpark with some of the Tomlin family and then on to see George Strait at Jerry World after the game.

Beltre just said in his interview that he taught EA how to make that play about 3 weeks ago and that Elvis made it look harder than it really is. Thats funny stuff there

Sure, it's an easy play Beltre.
I don't want to beat this to death, but for whatever reason during my away feeds, it seems like nearly if not every, set of announcers are praising Beltre's play and his ability to have fun. Maybe it's because he's getting older, and they want to give him the praise he undoubtedly deserves.
Beltre is the guy that had to stand up and show the youngsters how to relax, leading by example is enough.
and he's done exactly that. Of course we've always treasured the guy, but this year in particular, if it was even possible, I love him even more.

We all know the importance of numbers, stats, metrics, results...but, it's such a mental game, how do you quantify what a Vet like Beltre can do for a team and younger players?

More pressure I would think for Choice but it could work I guess, he has ability to draw a walk. It'll be fun to watch today anyway, hope he continues to use the whole field it's been going well for him lately
