Jansen sucks
Can't blame that on Correa though, as I'm sure you know, the best young players are often held back when they are ready, case in point, Kris Bryant .My guess is Correa could have matched the paltry numbers ARod put up at 18-19 for 200 AB's.
I do know that when that is the comparison drawn by nearly every scout that saw them both at the same age, and when Correa became the best player on his team as a rookie, there's no reason for me to doubt it. He doesn't have to be better than ARod (without the sauce) to be a younger version of the same
I understand the comparison, but yeah I feel like it has more to do with his physical appearance, batting stance, the position of shortstop, and of course the hype. It's a tough comp for anyone to live up to, but I can see why people keeping making it. No different than when Kershaw was getting Koufax comps as an unproven rookie that *is lefty, *plays for the Dodgers, *has an elite curveball, *name starts with a K, and *is hyped. Please, UK, continue your comparison of young Correa to young A-Rod....
he's been giving a crappy roster? these guys were all stars somewhere else, maybe the coach knew how to push the right button!!! and don't even bring age into this
lol, ones who know the game, do not understand! we just don't give a shlt when there is so much more here we have to be concerned about, it would help a great deal for a lot here if the yankees were competing, but as you see there really is no interest!... this team died with the Boss... as you said geefarti won with a team that was already put together.. he's done nothing on his own, cause his philosophy is all about resting players instead of winning at all cost, if the Boss was still here reetarti wouldn't be that is fact.
when they win yes! how do i explain this it sounds terrible,, for the most part we buy championships here, very rare that you win here with a team where you watch the kids grow, with the exception of some of the jeter years... so when the team does not compete attention goes elsewhere real quick, just look at the attendance of any game, but again the seats are all bought by corporations, thats another issue... ohh well
Polishes trophies.
He is no longer the GM. That is an undisputed fact. Did Evans talk to him about the deals they were making? I'm sure he did, but the reality is Sabean isn't the guy in that role. I will also say that I would be much more comfortable with the deals they made if Sabes was still the GM.
I like when he points to Bruce's RBIs.
